DRIVING COMFORT AHEAD

Valeo Thermal System Japan is already a leader in environmental protection.
In 1991, one of our initiatives halted use of ozone-damaging CFC12 refrigerant,
replacing it in the market with the more environmentally friendly HFC-134a refrigerant.
More recent trends of innovations include technologies for fuel consumption improvements;
hybrid cars, idle stop systems, 42V electrical systems, fuel cell and other electric
vehicles. Our development of various compressors and air-conditioning systems
is in line with these trends.
We are developing a system to reduce the generation of environment-damaging CO2 by calculating air-conditioner fuel consumption via analysis of exhaust gases. Our project teams are dedicated to designing better passenger comfort systems, and we are developing internal/external-controlled compressors to improve air-conditioning systems.
