DRIVEN BY SYNERGY Sharing our vision to create new opportunities.

In 1958, the Air-conditioning Business Division of Diesel Kiki Co., Ltd. became the first in Japan to develop, manufacture and market car air-conditioning equipment. Since that time, the company has continued to innovate in many ways, for example, by introducing Japan's first air-conditioning system using HFC-134a refrigerant. To this day, our focus on the automobile market positions us as one of the industry's leading automotive equipment companies.
The Air-conditioning Business Division became an independent company, Zexel Valeo
Climate Control Corporation, in 2000, subsequently becoming a subsidiary
fully owned by Valeo of France and later being renamed Valeo Thermal Systems
Japan Corporation (VTSJ) in 2005.
Valeo, headquartered in Paris, France, is already the second largest automotive supplier in Europe, and pursues an ambition to be one of the top five automotive suppliers in the world by 2010. Not only does VTSJ take advantage of Valeo's great technological achievements — it also continues to improve service to automobile manufacturers and drivers, to attain higher goals in product development and quality that raise customer satisfaction. Since our company's origins as Diesel Kiki Co., Ltd., we have always placed customers and technological innovation as our top priorities.
- All of us at Valeo Thermal Systems Japan Corporation share these crucial core goals:
- 1) To grow our business through synergy.
- 2) To become supremely cost-competitive.
- 3) To achieve consistently high quality standards globally.
- 4) To lead the development of automotive equipment technology.
- 5) To innovate effective management systems.
To achieve customer satisfaction by supplying the highest quality products and
service, and to attain world leadership, our company encourages and nurtures
a driving spirit, close teamwork and constant innovation.
With your valued support, we are confident of keeping up our winning ways.
