It takes more than quality indices to standardize superior quality. It also requires a comprehensive system and shared commitment to the highest quality on a global scale. Valeo's regular international engineering exchanges are instrumental to ensuring this.
Zero Failure is what we aim to achieve. This ideal advances precision machining,
assembly technology and overall quality. And our "5 Axes" philosophy defines
our quest for total quality as a global supplier. All of our employees are deeply
involved beyond what can be explained by job descriptions and titles. They work
in close cooperation with suppliers to achieve global quality standards in many
areas: building production systems, improving worksites continually, innovating
technology, advancing R&D and raising quality standards.
Our plants inside and outside of Japan are certified according to ISO9001 and QS9000 standards, and certified according to TS16949 standards, as well. In order to provide environmentally responsible production processes, a growing number of our plants no longer use organic solvents, and are certified ISO14001.
